The following recipe was given to me by my sister-in-law Chris.
Christine's Failsafe Scones
3 cups SR flour
1 cup pouring cream (250 mls)
1 cup lemonade (250 mls)
Mix all ingredients together and place on floured surface.
Knead well and roll until about 2 inches thick (don't fuss too much about the height!)
Cut with a round or square scone cutter and bake at 200 degrees celsius for ABOUT 10-15 minutes (keep checking after 10 mins to make sure they aren't burning)
Eat whilst warm and serve with jam and whipped cream!
YUMMY!!!!!!!!!
Hint: wrap the scones in a clean tea towel to keep them warm (if they last that long!)
